Extremely poor service and lack of communication!
On the 22nd of September I was notified via sms from the Boulderson Group that I have an unsettled bill with Neuberg Global since 2020 and will be handed over to the credit bureau if payment is not done by end of the week being the next day. I had to then call the offices myself only to be informed that in January 2020 I had a blood test done at a local GP which hadn't been covered by my medical aid however I was not notified by Discovery or the GP. My actual bill was r180 but with charges/interest was now r360 and bare in mind, the charges added were for calls/sms's which I've never received as the contact number they had listed is not and never has been mine nor is it my spouses. Furthermore an attempt to contact was only done in November 2021 yet the bill was outstanding since January 2020. I could not speak to a manager as none was available therefore I was told to send an email and to my disappointment the director of Boulderson rep**** to me only to give r40 off the bill and justify the charges stating, it isn't Neuberg Global's fault that they were given an incorrect number or that Discovery did not provide me with a remittance. I advised that I am prepared to pay for the invoice due but I cannot be held accountable for these charges. The response I received was "The R320 settlement discount will stand for 48hrs and should that not be accepted, we will continue to collect on the full balance." Unfortunately I had no other option but to pay the bill as non payment would result in a judgment against my name and a drop in my credit score which would impact my near future. As a working woman I have bills to pay and a baby to see to and it is extremely sad to know that this is the assistance I've received. Given days to settle a bill which I had not been notified of for over 2 years...
