Difficulty with Netflix cancellations

I have registered with Netflix. I am getting difficulty to cancel my subscription. It required my credit card details. I don't understand why do i need to punch my credit card details in order to cancel by subscription. I am getting frustrated because my account is being debited with R8-50 almost every day somedays they debit twice. Please assist with cancellation.
