Netco courier service ****. Do not use this company

I used Netco to have something delivered for a very urgent legal matter ( which I explained to them ) as they said they could deliver from JHB to Knysna same day. Due to this promise, I gladly paid them R1224.00 and did not use my trusted couriers who charge R150.00 for overnight delivery. They received the funds on the Monday morning, but by 16:00 that afternoon I heard nothing so I called them. I then got a story about the truck not being full so the item would only be delivered in the morning. By 10am I had heard nothing so I called and they then said that the delivery would only take place on Thursday. I told them this was unacceptable and that they would make sure it arrived on Tuesday. The lady Melanie told me she had booked it on a flight and it would arrive in George on Tuesday and I would be refunded the excess charges. Tuesday came and went and nothing arrived. They ignored my calls toward the end of Tuesday. Delivery finally took place on Wednesday afternoon. If they had told me that the delivery time was 2 days, I would have had the opportunity to choose if I wanted to pay R150 for overnight using my couriers or pay their ridiculously high charge of R1224 for 2 day delivery. Now they are refusing to refund me as they say that this is their fee. I would not have used this company if they were honest about their service. Now I have to take legal action and waste more time. Shocking attitudes and shocking service.
