Nightmare med scheme, bad service and attitudes

From the 'case manager' Matshepo who had a terrible attitude, sounding as if she was doing me a favour. Netcare is overall the worst medical aid scheme. My son had to wait 3months before he could be covered, despite the fact that he was covered all his life by GEMS. Yesterday took him to the Paed Dr, then got to pharmacy only to be told that this thing doesn't cover my son's meds. I had to pay R722 for my child to get his badly needed medication. If I hadn't had any cash? What would have happened to my child? All they are good for is covering pain meds, so I've come to realise. Deducting 2k each month and still have to worry abt getting authorisation with each consultation and worrying about bills not being footed. This med scheme is just in it for ******ing funds. No regard for clients whatsoever, you can just tell from the people on their lines. I really cannot wait to get out of netcare all together.
