A 6 month long nightmare

In February of this year I suffered a dog bite to my face and was rushed to the emergancy of Olivedale Hospital. I received stitches and they were done beautifully so I thank the Doctors and ER team who were there that day, the service from this point however went downhill RAPIDLY!

I was told by Lauren at ER that my total bill was R663.00 which I was pleasently surprised to hear (having never been to the ER I had no idea that there are two separate bills one being for the ER and the other for the hospital) So I paid the R663.00 and went happily on my way. A month later I got an sms stating that I still owed R878.09 and I need to come in and settle my account. I went over straight away and discovered that I still owed the Hospital fee which I them put through a claim to discovery and a few days later they paid the R663 ER fee, which has now been paid twice. So I contacted Jackie from the accounts department asking her to please move the R663 to pay off the hospital fee thus leaving me with an outstanding amount of R215 which I would happily pay.....WELL after months of trying to get hold of both Lauren from the ER and Jackie from the accounts department I am still gettting messages that I owe R883 that needs to be paid. I have sent over 5 emails to both ladies and after sending an email stating I want the money to be moved across I have heard nothing!!!! I have spent more than R215 just on petrol, air time and data trying to pay the R215 and NOTHING!

Such poor service from the ER and accounts departments!!!
