No food available at restaurant
A restaurant at a hospital can actually do very well if they get the basics right ... friendly and engaging staff, and be able to serve food that they advertise. The first week of Feb 2020 we had a family member undergoing surgery, and wanted to have breakfast the first morning while we wait. Firstly, the waiter took forever to come and get our order and there were more waiters than occupied tables. Then the waiter wasn’t sure if there’s mince available, she’ll have to check ... oh there’s no mince and they can’t substitute. Ok ... scan through the menu again, almost all breakfast options have mince in it unless you want oats or a vegetarian option. Great, decided on pancakes, oh sorry they don’t have pancakes. We ended up getting up and driving to a nearby restaurant. They didn’t only lose out on our meal that day, but we had to go back and forth for a week and rather packed our own breakfasts and lunches than having to get food from there. The little shop was really low on cool drinks, chips and sweets. Not sure who is managing this store but I’d be surprised to see if they’re even breaking even with this poor management.
