SHOCKING ASSESSMENT

My car was in a minor accident and Net Assess - Richard Langer did an assessment on the vehicle - there were parts added that do not even belong on the make and model of my car. I sent in an honourable panel beater for a second assessment who discovered the additional parts and the difference between the 2 quotes was R9390.61. The most important thing for me was how easily Net Assess inflate their prices and to make it easy?? they simply write off the car when in fact it could be repaired. Why is this - I could think of many reasons but would love to hear what they have to say. Net Assess has a poor reputation among many insurance companies but Discovery Insure uses them and trusts them - why? it would be interesting to find out.
