Net Assess and Discovery - a couple made in hell
So I had an accident about 3 months ago and its quite evident that this assessment center doesn't know how to do a proper assessment on a vehicle involved in an accident. After the accident I drove my car for a while, as far as I could, to get closer to home because I was on a very busy, very dangerous highway and feared for my safety and that of my colleague. The car then stalled shortly after and there we were sitting on the side of the road anyway, waiting over 2 hours for a tow truck to arrive. The part that frustrates me is the timelines and how this whole claim was handled, from the moment my car was taken away it nearly took 3 weeks to get a report from the assessors, meanwhile my car is sitting in some yard in Bellville. When the "so called" repairs (now I say so called because at this point everyone already knew that I had driven my car for a bit after the accident to get off the highway and to a place of safety), were approved my car was sent to CK Coachworks for repairs. But its quite clear that these assessors didn't look for damages that might have been caused by me driving the car after the accident. So now after 3 months I am informed of these damages after the head gasket on my car blew on someones else's watch and after the assessor failed to check for any other damages!!!!! Seriously!!!! I am now told after 3 months with my car being in possession of a third party, who didn't even check my car and bleed my car, for all that time, needs additional repairs for which I am liable. Are you kidding me !!!!
