ricoffy

I purchased a 750g ricoffy from a shop, cant remember which one it was. I opened it, used it but something was off. I then thought maybe i didnt rinse my cup out right and thought nothing of it. I carried on drinking it, only to realise it wasnt my cup it was the coffee itself.

i contacted nestle, which then got a courier company to collect the tin from me. When you open the tin your supposed to smell that rich smell of coffee, but this tin all you got was a smell of washing powder.

I recieved a call back from nestle saying they did tests and so on but cant figure out the contamination.,asked me if anyone else used the coffee (eg: housekeeper} to which i rep**** im the only one that drinks coffee here. I dont have a housekeeper. Then i got asked if i maybe put the coffee into another container and used it for something else. NO. They gave me R120 voucher to spend on nestle items at Pick n Pay.

But my question isand they cant anser me is, where did the washing powder taste and smell come from.
