Disappointment

I bought a 5lt Farmhouse Rainbow ice cream for my sons birthday, to my surprise the ice cream was awful, you could see that it melted and all the taste was gone and tasted like ice crystals. I returned it to the shop and I was told that its not their fault but they say it came like this
