Technician with an attitude refuses to cooperate

My Machine was damaged from a power surge. I paid for the repair during which they replaced the circuit board. The technician refuses to state that the damage was probably/possibly due to a power surge. This happened along with several other appliances, no other supplier refuses to do this. Who is this idiot creating bad-will for your amazing brand?
