First and last time Nespresso customer
I had the most disappointing experience from Nespresso. My husband bought an Essenzia Mini coffee machine n 13/02/2021. By August 2021 we noticed that the water tank was leaking. After logging a complaint with Nespresso we got a reply after 3 weeks saying the replacement of the water tank does not fall under the warranty. So what DOES then? Long story short, I was told to pay R100 for a new one and waiver the delivery fee of R95 by purchasing 5 sleeves of coffee. I emailed back to confirm that what I owed was R600. I got the same stupid reply back. I paid R100 five days ago only to be told today that I need to pay R500 for the coffee. It is fine, I will pay for the coffee but why could the original email not have been answered properly. I have waited 5 days for a new tank and was told today that it will take another 3-4 working days to deliver the tank. So ANOTHER week I have to wait. I am livid as I have been without a coffee machine for 6 weeks now. I never ever expected such bad service from Nespresso. I will never ever recommend their products to anyone and will be using other coffee pods in my machine. Until that breaks too. I cannot believe I have wasted all this money. A very disappointed first and last time Nespresso customer. Natalie Nissen
We are disappointed to hear this and apologise for any confusion. Needless to say, the email communication noted that you will need to purchase 5 sleeves of coffee to waiver the delivery fee. A pro-forma invoice was emailed to you on the 19th of August indicating the cost of the water tank and 5 sleeves of coffee which amounted to R600; you responded on the 5th of September enquiring if this quotation was still valid; in this case we noted you only paid R100 thereafter. The email communication thereafter indicated the same: Purchase 5 sleeves of coffee to waiver the R95 delivery fee. We have now dispatched your water tank without a delivery fee which was communicated to you this afternoon.
