Bad Service/ Incorrect pricing to lure Clients
On the 3rd of April I went in for an eye test, after seeing a special for spectacles. I dont know why I didnt browse through the comment section on the FB page First but just had a look at all the specials. Ok after the eye test was done, I was told that I needed Multifocal lenses. Ok fine, Lesego the Optometrist tells me it will now be R2950 and not the special I went in for, I was shocked at this new amount thrown at me. He then advised that for every task you need different spectacles. I told him I didnt expect this big amount thrown at me and not in the position to pay that. He explained that I can go for the reading glasses, fast Forward to 2 weeks later, I get the specs and believe you me I need to have something atleast 5 to 10cm close to my eyes, everything else is 1 big blur, I was so disappointed and the lady told me to take it home and see if my eyes adjust, if not bring it back. Mind you on my way out I picked up a physical phamplet at their store and it clearly states multifocal specs are at R2450 (With an extra pair), not the R2950 I was told about. My husband called Lesego the Optometrist and I promise you if arrogance and unprofessionalism had a name it would be Lesego. He didnt want to listen to anything, while this was all happening I went through their page and boy oh boy lots of people experienced similar regarding extra pricing thrown at you and bad quality specs. We spoke to a lady Lizette at the supposed (Head office), she was polite, suggested we go to another Neovision branch. My husband was not satisfied as we dont have the time to be hopping around so he went back to Neovision at Mall of the South, this time Lesego refused to come out, eventually after 45 minutes he did and my husband demanded my script, the strength of my glasses is listed at 1:50 where as my current ones are 2:50 to 3:00. He then starts laughing and offers my husband to test HIS eyes. By this time my husband was ****ed off at this ****py joke of a service and stormed out, I reported the matter to CGSO, they now reported it Saoa. Its 2 months since I went into to get my specs . I haven't used this ******* that was given to me. Lesego I want my refund so I can go to a proper Optometrists. Consumers please be very wary of them, Have a look at the feedback from Clients. I have numerous screenshots from their FB with similar issues.
