Old Mutual - Neighbout Funeral Scheme

By far the worst experience ever with NEIGHBOUR FUNERAL SCHEME!! This funeral scheme has Old Mutual as their underwriter.

I made a claim on January 20th of 2026, as my brother had passed on. To date, February 19 of 2026, I have yet to receive the funeral policy payout. The staff has zero regard as to how I had to make other alternative plans, in order to bury my brother. Everytime I go to their offices to inquire as to what is taking so long, they lie and say that the money was transferred into my bank account 3 times and bounced back each time. I've gone as far as printing bank states as to prove that they are lying. Today, I again went back to their offices and now they're claiming that Old Mutual is the one having issues sending the funeral cover payout and not them. I am beyond frustrated. Having to deal with such a **** of a funeral scheme when I should be grieving.
