Defamation Of Character During call enquiry

<p>2017 March 13</p> <p> </p> <p>I received a call from ********** 621 NDC credit management company, by consultant name Bongekile Masikane. The service I received was a very rude, personalised and accusation call from her when trying to find out why have I not handed in an unemployment status letter from Department of Labour. Bongekile asked me why havent I handed in the letter and my response was i tried to go to Department of Labour and queue was long for me to bare since i am heavily pregnant and have medical condition that i cannot seat or stand for a long time, I went back home and reschuled for another day. She said I am ****, did not go there, their company know the procedures at Department of Labour for people looking for the letters they are served quickly than any other people. I told her there is no reason for her to call me a ****, because I did went there just I could not bare the procedure because on that day in the morning it was full. (In fact before I went to Department of Labour I phoned them if its possible forthem to email me the letter? They said they used to do it before but anymore because people are using thes letters for ***** and impose themselves as other people. But the lady further explained tome the Department of Labour is always full maybe it would be better if I come in the sfternoon before closing time because I would have to stand a long queu if I come in any other time). She shouted in my ear a **** about trying to go to Department of Labour, a **** for not affording to paying school fees for my kids, a big **** of a parent and that there is no such a thing that I could not pay because I cannot afford... how did I enrol my kids to a school that is 10 km away from my home??? Surely she shouting questions and not expecting any response from me because the questions were continoues and could not respond. Lastly she told me, again shouting, that she will force me to pay for the school fees whether I like it or not because I am such a big **** instead of doing a right thing and banged the phone on my ear. The call was surely not about trying to resolve the debt matter, she just wanted unpack her anger on me because I did not do what she has asked me to do!</p> <p>I phoned back and tried to lay a complain with a supervisor. I confirmed with her supervisor named Nozipho whether the calls are recorded? She said yes they are. after I stated my complain and her response was a question and asked me what would I have done if I was on Bongekile Masikane's shoes? I responded to her not shouting to a client and calling her names and worse part to threaten her... I would have taken the next step of legal action rather, doing things by the book because surely there is no where in their policy where its states they must be violent with the clients. then Nozipho told me that because they are doing humanity to the people by not quickly taking legal actions, so I asked is that why they being rude because they know people need them?</p> <p>During the conversation, the Supervisor did not show any remorse of her subordinate rudeness and bad attitude, she asked me if there is anything else and I told her to please advice her employee to be proffesional and learn a manner of approach and Nozipho said she will tell her, goodbye have a nice day. </p> <p>Still I was not happy with the supervisor, I phoned the same number and asked the switchboard operator for the managers number. The switchboard operator told me that the manager of the company ( Mr Gordon), is out of the country and will be back next month (April) and I asked who is Acting on his behalf she told me there is no one. So, now my question is how can such a big company, handling the personal matters of peoples credits, have the Supervisor as the highest rank in their hierachy of organogram with no management??? I know my fault regarding my file with them, but still Bongekile Masikane had no authority to treat me as ****** or a prisoner when they are enquiring about my silence, its uncostitutional and defamation of character. </p>
