Using Money to get Little money

My Father who passed away in September on the 10th had a Pension fund claim and a Funeral policy claim. The Funeral policy claim he had was not applicable anymore as he stopped working at Bidvest. The pension fund however was.

My Mother still trying to process his passing finally just gave up today. At the end of September all necessary documents were sent for payout. She's been waiting for it since then and as one of their consultants said it's not a lot why don't you wait.

Pay out was supposed to be in first week October, then month end , then second week in November and then month end November. She is and was his wife even though she gave everything from letter of of authority ,death certif, bank statements needed they still need a letter from court stating they can pay the money as he did not die on duty but after. The court advises and gave the letter of authority ,my mother that was legally marriedd to my Dad has the right get paid the amount of the pension fund . We went to the Bidvest Prestige office Epping Airport Industrial. They said everything that was needed was received they don't understand they do not pay it out and the Court which is the Law.

The Fact that im seeing my mom defeated and so emotional and just lost her husband it breaks my heart and that this place has the audacity to send her all over place running around for this as they put it " little money" but yet they degrading her to this state is awful . The Consultant who is trying to help said there is no tax but this little is still going to be taxed
