Surplus/interest on provident fund

I was called in by trustees of a provident fund at my former employer and was asked to come and fill forms and provide documents (I'd copy and 3 months bank statement) which I did almost seven weeks ago. Two weeks ago I decided to call their offices to find out how far they are with the process and a lady from their offices asked me for my id number which I did and she confirmed that she had processed my documents and told me the only thing left was for them to make payments which they have not done yet. What is more frustrating is that they do not even bother contacting me for updates,and this is taking me back to when I first had to receive payment on my provident fund as they were taking me from pillar to post and I only received my payment within a week of me posting my review here. Do I have to complain first to get help or am I not important enough for to bother themselves with providing us with good services. PLEASE HELP.
