Short paid Provident fund for 3yrs contract
Our work contract ended on the 30th of June it was a 3yrs contract and we were registered with NBC for cleaning company. All documents for cashing out our provident fund were submitted,we received no communication or update date regarding our claim, until I went to their office in Parktown,I was assisted by a lady who was on her cellphone the whole time while I was there she only requested my ID document and after 30min of her trying to access the system that was “Offline” she then called another division,no communication to me still. Upon ending the call she was on, her cellphone rang she answered it,gave me my ID and gave a hand signal of 👍🏽 your money will be in next week, which is 1st week of September. On the 2nd of September I then Received R3 183.00. How possible is this that you worked for 3 years full and get 3000 provident fund? Tried to call and send emails I am not getting any feedback. Kindly please assist with clearity. My ex-colleagues have just started receiving their money,they received R13 000 yesterday.
Your complaint has been received and has been escalated to the Walk-in Centre manager for intervention. However please note as per the new legislature in the Pension Fund Sector part of your fund credit was split into a retirement record which is only available upon your retirement or transfer to another Fund.
Kindly note that your remaining fund credit was paid out to you after the tax deductibles, an email has been sent to you with your payment letter which includes both the IT88 and IRP5 letters. For the SARS payment done, please check with SARS directly.
