Provident fund payout

I have submitted my forms at the beginning of July and as per NBC reviews payment was supposed to be within 14 to 21 days. However today NBC indicated 6 to 8 weeks waiting period. I find this very disappointing. I have commitments to take care of at the end of this month. So what do I do now? I'm under alot of stress due to this. Could someone please me urgently
