CLAIM REJECTED

Over the long weekend of 8 August 2015 I had to call out plumbers to fix the water pipe leaks at my home, which resulted in having no hot water for the greater part of the weekend. the leaks appeared in stages as a result of the age of the pipes. Once the first leak was repaired, another one occurred with the end result that there were three leaks and the valve at the geyser which had to be replaced on advice of the plumbers who warned me that if it was not replaced then, I would very soon experience further damage. The difficult and timely part was that the roof plates had to be removed at the sections where work had to be done to expose the leaking pipes and to be placed back and sealed after completion!! The total cost was R3 600 (I paid R200 cash to the plumber on the Saturday on request of the owner) of which I expected to pay R2 000 excess. I was surprised that my claim was rejected by Natsure stating that it is regarded as 3 different incidents with <br> R2 000 excess payable for each!!!. I need your assistance. I have not even claimed for the damaged ceilings!!
