I rented from ******* not agents

<p>When we moved in (Jan 2016), we dealt with an agent called Godfrey Moloi who gave us 1 set of keys and promised to deliver the other set in a day or 2 but over a week went by with him ignoring our phone calls. We had to call the offices to finally speak to him and, of course, he didn't even offer an apology and acted like we were unreasonable for being frustrated.</p> <p>One key was given to us broken and we were told that it's our problem and if we want another key we'd have to do it at our own cost; but Godfrey said he would "from the goodness of his heart" pay for it after we sent him a receipt of getting the key cut. We sent him the receipt of R40 and more than a year later, he's still ignored us completely in that regard even though we reminded him of it repeatedly. When I moved out, I had the decency to leave the key with them, and didn't even get a "Thank you" for it.</p> <p>We bascially had to beg for our deposit back for over a month and a half. Only now in mid-Feb are they apparently sending it to us - this after multiple promises by them to call and deposit the money earlier. Their promises amount to nothing. They charged us for things that we'd noted in our own move-in inspection that we weren't responsible for. I don't know whether someone there can't read or if they think we're stupid enough to not notice.</p> <p>You need a lot of airtime and a lawyer to deal with them, an absolute HEADACHE of a company with **** service from beginning to end.</p>
