Delaying of Deposit Refund

I moved out of my unit at the end of December 2018 and am still awaiting the refund of my deposit (14 February 2019). Natrent agreed that everything is in order and that there is no need for any repairs or maintenance in the unit. I have supp**** a copy of the Rental Contract, which they claimed not having on record, proof of payment of my deposit as well as my banking details. I have had countless promises of my deposit going to be refunded "tomorrow" but to date am still out of pocket. Property owners should seriously re-consider using this company as Rental Agents. I will now contact the Rental Housing Tribunal to take this matter further.

They are also trying to misguide the public regarding interest accrued on their deposit with the following:

Deposit refund as per lease agreement 3.3 ---3.3 the deposit or the balance of the deposit and interest (if any) shall be refunded to the LESSEE within within 30 days of vacating the premises, providing that all repairs (if any) are completed, outstanding electricity accounts are settled in full and all keys, remotes have been handed over to the LESSOR or his agent; 3.1 IN the new CONTRACT- NOTE: The deposit will NOT accrue interest as Natrent Platinum Rentals is a member of the Estate Agents Affairs Board and is duly obligated to pay interest earned over to the Estate Agents Affairs Board

Good day Mari.
As you know we took over the management of your unit from your previous agency. There is dispute over where the deposit is sitting as the previous agency kept extremely poor records, but the owner has agreed to refund the deposit as you were good tenants.
As Marie discussed with you on Tuesday the refund will be done in the next day or two, and will reflect in your account today.
Thank you
Pierre
