VEHICLE LICENCE RENEWAL

Firstly I went to the Randburg licencing offices last week to renew my drivers licence. I was met by a rather aggressive gentleman at the front desk who was providing forms to potential DRN applicants. His annoyed attitude was overwhelming as he asked me if I had booked online, to which I answered that I had not. He told me angrily that it was on the news (many of us do not watch news or even television at all) However after much annoyance and disgruntled conversation he conceded to assist me.

I had forgotten my spectacles in my vehicle and through this I failed my eye test. I also found the woman doing the tests very impatient with me if not rather intimidating.

That said, I have now had my eyes tested as per orders from the intimidating woman and decided to book online before I attempt to go back to ensure a peaceful process. However, several attempts to do this on the said website: https://online.natis.gov.za/#/ have failed and the call centre number of the website just rings or someone disconnects the call.

I am an honest tax paying citizen trying legitimately to obtain my drivers licence renewal.

After all the hostility of before, I now have to face it tall over again.
