Useless NaTIS Online Services

I have been trying for MONTHS to get a booking to renew my driver's license card, which expired during lockdown. Every Monday morning at 7:45 I check for an open slot but there are NEVER any slots available when the system is supposed to open them. This morning, the system seems to be offline; clicking on any link gives a connection error and takes you back to the starting page. I am so frustrated! How on earth am I supposed to renew my license when the system doesn't work and never has? What am I going to do when the Metro Police pulls me over and fines me for driving with an expired license?
