So you spend hours trying to book online. You re-enter your details because every transaction requires revalidation. Totally stupid. Then you finally get a booking 40km's away. Yay. Rock up at the place an hour early as required only to find a notice that states that eye tests are not done at the premises and that you need to have a certificate from an optometrist. Yet, there was no mention of this in any correspondence or on the website. I write this just to vent, knowing full well that the illiterate, lazy and inconsiderate fools who sit at these offices will likely not do anything more than they absolutely have to to get paid.
