SA Drivers License Renewal

How is one able to be a law abiding Law abiding citizen with a valid driver’s license when it is impossible to get a booking. Now that the process has been changed and you may not just arrive at a licensing department…what do you do. I was told that slots open this morning at 7:45 on the following website https://online.natis.gov.za There are no booking calendars and the site does not seem to be working. When I contact the only number on the website *** It rings and eventually cuts off. Are you going to pay my fine when my driver’s license expires and I have no new license? What a disgrace!!!
