Unprofessional and insensitive

Companies have certain rules and policies which need to be adhered to, however, when the policies set by the organization themselves are not correctly followed why should we patients follow them. I work at a school and thus arrangements have been made for me to finish off early so that I can attend my dialysis sessions at a suitable time. This has now changed at my unit, I have been told to come in when it my time slot, which is 16:00. I don't have a problem in doing so but this becomes a huge inconvenience when the protocol placed is not executed. after every session the unit needs to be sanitized ready for the next shift, this is not done, there is absolutely no social distancing between patients, I sanitize my own area when I get in, which takes at least 10-15 min, the machine is not prepped and ready, that can take up to 20 min to be ready. my session should start at least within 15 min of arrival, I got to the unit at 16:00 yesterday and was only connected at 1645, an hour into my session the machine I'm connected to malfunctions, and another machine needs to be set up, this takes up another 20 min, do a 4 1/2 hour session with yesterday delays I only finished off my session and left the unit at 10 pm. firstly the problem with this is your condition on completion of your session differs with every session, I still have to drive myself home, there is no security that part of the night at the unit and I was the last patient. they are using the Covid pandemic as a scapegoat, but nothing they practise reflects them using Covid protocols. This is a serious concern as patients already have an ailment and the NRC is not doing anything in making it any easier for the patients. I hope that this review reaches the correct people and that some action is taken to address these issues.
