Rental bill (NRE Bloemfontein)

National Real Estate Bloemfontein. I paid for an apartment on the 15th of December 2023, with the intention to move in the beginning of January and I made the management aware. I paid Half deposit, full Rent January and contract fee. I didn't sign a lease agreement, let alone be asked when am I gonna pay for my apartment,

Around the 23rd of January I got a call that I missed the rent of January, and I'm R8000 due, my rent is R3200, how did I even get to R8000 when I've only moved in for a month. No one is saying anything.

I still don't have a geyser, some things that need fixing haven't been fixed, no communication whatsoever. I don't even know where to run for help anymore.
