Refusal to repay my deposit by national real estate

I paid a deposit of R12 000 when I moved in their premises in Acacia place raceway park Bloemfontein. I then canceled my contract when my bond approved. I canceled the contract and was given an effective date of 31 December 2019. I was told that I'd get my deposit refund by end of January, the name of the person I spoke to is Walter. By end of February he said I should wait for a maximum of two weeks and the payment will be made to my account. I waited patiently but to no avail. I called him and demanded to speak to Hendrea, she made a similar promise but it failed yet again. Around early March Walter guaranteed me that I'd get my money by mid March. But still to no avail. We then exchanged a string of emails and I then lost my temper and started to text things I'm not proud of.

He then called me last week on the 1st of April and promised me that I'll get my money on the 3rd of April. I've been calling him since the 3rd and he's constantly lying to me about my money being processed. On the 6th of April he made another promise that he'll email me my proof of payment and he has failed as usual.
