National Real Estate (Bloemfontein)

I moved into my flat at kiepersol late May beginning, everything was sorted paid my rent. Before I moved in I realized that there was no prepaid meter however on the advert as well as the application it stated that the flat is prepaid electricity. I enquired this spoke to my real estate agent Reeves he followed up and confirmed the meter is with the owner I should not be worried. As at the time I was a contract employee of ESKOM I knew a lot about electricity and how it works as I was working with accounts etc. myself hence I took the flat cause I preferred prepaid over conventional. Cut a long story short I confirmed every month in person and via email if the landlord did not bring the prepaid meter when in September late I get an email with an electricity bill and appointment that centlec will come and install a prepaid meter. Hereby indicated that I will have to account for the electricity used that was over 3000 where it was only me and my son staying the and only big things that consumed electricity was my fridge two plate stove and TV. I went and made numerus visits to NRE spoke to the person working with these matters. His name was Marius the case was dragged from September till February. 14 February 2016 I get a notification the rent will be increasing from 3500 to 3800 in March. I haven’t even occupied the flat for a full year so two days later I submitted my 30 day notice as I could not afford a one bedroom that expensive whereby I was told I needed to submit a 60 day notice. Meanwhile my “electricity bill” was increasing due to the staff incompetence. I moved out and didn’t even claim my deposit still they handed me over?? What happened to my deposit?? Cause shortly after I moved out there was someone that occupied the flat. Now I am black listed by them I cannot apply for any flat via a real estate agency. Never in my history of renting have had I ever come across this type of ****************
