National Real Disaster Estate

Probably the most *********** bunch of people working in any accounts department I have seen in a long, long time. The billing for our water and electricity have been bungled so many times, I have lost count. Earlier this year, there were two instances of them either not allocating payments to my account, or misallocating them to someone else. So, at the end of September we receive our invoices, mine indicating the awesome sum of -R38.38. Yes, you read that correctly. Shortly after receiving this, I received another one, stating that the previous one was incorrect, I have a new invoice for -R127.58. Yes, you also read that one correctly. Minus. They owe me in other words. It wasn't only me, the whole complex had new invoices, another interesting part - the first ones were marked NOVEMBER 2021!! November. End of November I receive my next invoice, R936.29, it also states the balance brought forward of -R127.58, and I duly pay R940.00. This month, wow, this month I receive an invoice for R3,478.65........because I did not pay my October invoice of R2,200.00 odd. And all they do, is pull up their shoulders. You owe it, you need to pay it. Our complex is in the process of going pre-paid. NRE is charging nearly double the rates of Centlec, and then they can't do proper accounting either.

Yes, I hope they read this, and millions of others in this country. Am I interested in their response? Not really, not unless they tell me which *********** oaf they fire, and how THEY are going to resolve this mess. Pay? Me? They have a better chance of falling pregnant.
