Deposit no-Refund?

<p>We evacuated a flat we were leasing from National letting at the end of March. We were told that we'd receive our deposit within 21 days. We then were told that "the municipality" was yet to send the march bill for electricity so they will be unable to refund the payment. Weeks later we had not been refunded and were told that the landlord had insisted on paying her part of the bill first and the refund will be made on Friday. Two Fridays have since passed, it is more than 45 days later and we have still not been refunded. When we call the Office we are told that the payment "should have been made" and they will "check on it". </p> <p>This is very dissapointing as we have been handed over to debt collectors on a few occasions by the same company when payments were made on time. Instead of asking for the reference used on payment, they send threatening mails, charge interest and "hand you over" however they themselves have taken double the time to refund a deposit! It has not been a pleasure leasing from this Company and I hope not to have to do business with them any time in the near future. </p> <p> </p> <p>I only have one request left for National letting: Pay back the money!!!!!!!</p>
