6 Months of National Letting's unfulfilled promises to pay rental refund

I have been trying to get a deposit refund from National Letting for over 6 months now with out success. I have been communicating with different people from their office in Strubens Valley. This is for a rental in Milpark 28 Stanley . The painful and frustrating thing is that I have not once been given a reason for not paying out the refund. The responses have ranged from: we are handling a lot of refunds you will be paid at the end of the month, you will be paid at the end of the week, we are investigating why you have not been paid, I am no longer dealing with Auckland park rentals. During this time they do not acknowledge nor respond to email and never call back. They have not at any point asked for details of my case, banking details e.t.c as an indication that they are dealing with my matter. I am left with no option but to go Ombudsman and or the Estate Agencies board. The media is also an option at this stage. I am checking if there are people who have had similar experiences. There is strength in numbers.
