NHLS double billing ****

I should not even award 1* to these ************. They are double billing for accounts in Cape Town which are included in the hospital Statements for which you have paid already, and are clearly itemised on the statements, and then the Laboratory tries to extract from you via persistent SMS’ and hands you over to CreiditIntel credit bureau to hound you for payment which you do not owe or have ever received an account for! This institution needs to read the Consumer Act! If the hospitals are not forwarding your payments recived and are not paying the Laboratories, then that is their problem not ours. I also have a problem with the hospital accounts as well. incompetence is the word for their accounting systems. If you google this NHLS you will see for yourself where the problem lies. The hospitals have sold them our details and they are now ******** innocent and often uneducated people into paying twice.

Hopefully this matter is now resolved. I finally managed to get hold of someone (Jeremy Riko), who works in the accounts department at NHLS who understands that the clinic should not be charging an old pensioner for these tests. ( for which we have never received any accounts!,)They have incorrectly billed. He has promised to contact CreditIntel to reverse the charges and messages I am getting to recover owed monies. I will have to inform the clinic accounts department myself to reverse the charges from the Provincial Laboratory at Tygerberg hospital.What really is appalling is the fact that between the NHLS and the CreditIntel is that both do not have the correct facts and figures of the amount owed. One says R461 and the other R4600.?? I shudder to think how uneducated people are taken for a ride with this misinformation.
