Bad Blood.

My spouse went for blood tests as was required by our doctor. These tests were carried out by Lancet Laboratories and to the cost of R 600.00 As we are pensioners, we requested that we pay the amount in 3 installments of R200 each. This was agreed to by Lancet and payments were made in Oct, Nov and Dec of 2021. However. After the final payment we were informed by Lancet that they did not receive the November payment. We duly forwarded proof of payment but kept on getting calls to the effect that we did not pay. I eventually send the proof 3 times to Lancet, by as their staff is of a very low standard and totally unprofessional, nothing came of this. Some time later I received a notice via email, that it is sorted and all is ok. Today, 3 months later, we receive a letter form ITC administrators demanding the R199.00 outstanding amount. This is totally ridiculous. I cannot say that Lancet is of a professional standard, and one tends to have doubt on their result of blood testing, seen in the light of the shambles their accounts seem to be in. Needlessly to say, we will never make use of them again, and also convey this feeling to those who ask on our thoughts of Lancet. I have decided to pay the R199.00 as I cannot longer afford to spend anymore time and effort trying to deal with an idiotic situation. The whole matter however leaves a bitter taste in the mouth ..with full credit and thank to Lancet Laboratories.
