Disappointing NFO Investigator

I have dealt with the NFO before, and I know from experience that not every investigator is the same. Unfortunately, in this instance, my case was assigned to an investigator whom I feel had no interest to meaningfully address the issues I raised.

My case, No *** which was opened in October 2025 was closed yesterday, 18/08/2026, despite the concerns I had raised not being properly addressed or resolved. I have now compiled and submitted a response to the investigator—not because I expect a different outcome from him, but because I believe it is important to place my position and concerns formally on record.

When a case is closed, particularly where the issues raised have not been adequately addressed and there appears to have been little or no meaningful attempt to resolve them, it is extremely disappointing and leaves a consumer feeling that their concerns have simply been dismissed rather than investigated.

I also attempted to escalate my concerns regarding the investigator to ***********, but unfortunately received no response. At this point, I have exhausted the internal avenues available to me and am therefore preparing to escalate the matter to the Ombudsman Council.

I am not prepared to remain silent when I believe that legitimate concerns have not been properly considered. I will continue to pursue the matter through the appropriate channels until I receive a proper response to the issues I originally raised.
