DECLINED CLAIM BY CAPITEC(GUARDRISK INSURANCE) APPROVED WITH THE HELP OF NFO

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the National financial Ombudsman scheme for fight my battle. I had a credit insurance with Capitec, GUARDRISK insurance is their underwriter. I submitted a claim as per their Terms and Conditions. I was medically incapacitated, after a long temporary incapacity leave. I was then put on permanent incapacity retirement. I've been up to date with my payment from the start until the 20th May 2025. I submitted a claim. The claim was DECLINED. Reason being that I took the loan while already medically incapacitated. I laid a dispute, which was also declined. I have been paying my debt without fail. Insurance premiums were deducted each month. I took the matter to the Ombudsman.
