Nation Debt Advisors Charging ******* Fee for Clearance Certificate

I have recently settled all my accounts and formally requested Nation Debt Advisors to issue my clearance certificate. According to the National Credit Regulator (NCR), once debts are cleared and requirements are met, a clearance certificate must be issued at no additional cost.

Instead, Nation Debt Advisors attempted to invoice me R3,500 for the certificate. This practice is ******* and exploitative. Initially, they sent me an invoice reflecting a zero balance. When I called to clarify when I would receive my clearance letter and why a zero balance invoice was issued, they admitted it was a "mistake" and then sent another invoice charging R3,500.

This is a clear attempt to cash out money ********ly from consumers who have already fulfilled their obligations. I urge Nation Debt Advisors to comply with NCR regulations and issue clearance certificates without imposing ******* charges.
