Clearance Certificate

I have paid all my debts February 2022, I'm still waiting for my clearance certificate, I was advised that I need to get paid up letter from Nedbank, I told them that I'm getting paid from the same Current account, I then spoken to Yandiswa who told me that I should get a confirmation letter from the bank stating that I'm not owing them anything, but confirmation letter was declined now I must close my current account in order to get the paid up letter from the bank so that I can get the clearance certificate please help.
