Who supports the consumer, who protects us
I took out a loan for an amount of R1500 from lendplus a d this was paid via ewallet. I could not draw the ewallet due to the fact that I am using a contract phone and Lendplus does not send a pin with the ewallet. A requested a refund from Lendplus as could not access the funds. I have not received the refund from Lendplus and I have repaid the loan amount in full even though I have not received the funds.
They now have the loan amount that I didn't receive as well as the repayment that I made. I have followed up with them on the refund numerous times to no avail. It have been a month now.
Please help me or point me in the right direction. These people have ****** my money. A cooperation has ****** a single working class individuals money. There has to be some justice. They are registered with the NCR. I am very disappointed to see that as consumers we have no recourse when these companies take advantage of us and don't follow fair lending practices even though they are registered with the NCR.
Noone from the NCR has contacted me or responded to my email, yet if I had note paid the loan, this company would have taken me to task. There's no help whatsoever from NCR so what recourse do we have as consumers?
