Does the NCR really help consumers????

Is the NCR not there to ensure that customers are treated fairly and not rub off. Well in my case this is not true. I submitted a complaint where Omega Equity Release Finance a debit review company took about R17,000 from me and they did not pay one cent to my creditors in 2016. The response I got from them was according to Omega did pay my creditors and they do not owe me anything... Case close as per the NCR despite the fact that I complaint about the R17000 paid to Omega in 2016 and not the payments made in 2017. I have prove of these payments. Proof of calls made to Omega and proof of e-mails send to Omega with no response from Omega of what happen with R17,000 and the NCR just believed Omega and pushed me aside. That is South Africa for you. The institute that is suppose to help you... Don't... where do we has consumers turn to for help.

It is almost a month later and no acknowledgement from the NCR with regards to this complaint. So the question remains... Does to NCR look out for the customer,, or NOT What does the NCR regulate when they take the part of the company that is doing their client in. This government departments is giving SA the bad name we have. But that is South Africa for you.
