Absolute Appalling service from NCR

Where do I begin...

Removal of Debt Review status / 18 August 2016

I went under Debt review way back in 2008 until 2011. All forms were completed when I voluntarily withdrew in 2011, but to my surprise, I was still listed as I found out last year 2016. So I contacted Debtbusters and they apologised for the mishap on their side. The then assured me that the matter will get resolved ASAP (September 2016).

They contacted me and said that were issues with my status as I withdrew before the ACT change and cannot amend my status to “G”. So they had to refer the matter to the NCR so that they can update/override the system from their side (October 2016)

Filled in the forms with NCR submitted ALL relevant documentation (Oct 2016). Fine right….No it’s been months and 1000 emails later and the matter is till completely unresolved. I has to wait for more than a month just to get feedback from the NCR, because Sonia Giba was on leave …?

So here is some of the standard responses I am getting from Sonia :

" Good day

The consumer has been that his matter has been captured for further investigation and the Complaints Officer will contact him.

Regards

Sonia Giba
Good day

Kindly receive the ref number C44948 , don’t worry about the form 29 that we have sent to you we have already captured the matter on the system , the Complaints Officer will contact you for further investigation.

Regards

Sonia
Sonia ********** />Feb 6 (2 days ago)

to me, From,

Good day

We have contacted the debt counsellor on Friday and she has sent the request to their Admin department who will update the status accordingly .

Regards

Sonia Giba

Sonia ********** />Jan 31 (8 days ago)

to me

Good day

Still waiting for the debt review to get back to us , you get the respond once the matter is back from that department.

Regards

Sonia ********** />Jan 24

to Evelyn, me, fromtheceosoff., Complaints, PumlaniB|

Good day

Kindly be advised that your matter will be sent to the Debt Review department so they can be able to update the status , the Legal Advisor has re-assess the matter however she suggested that we need to sent it to the Debt Review department.

Regards

Sonia Giba

Sonia ********** />Jan 19

to me

Good day

Spoke to Debt busters and they confirmed that they will update the NCR Debt Help system accordingly and they will sent the confirmation to us.

Regards

Sonia Giba

------------------------------------------------------

Messages sent from Debtbusters clearly states the issue ! please see below :

Shireen Rassie via freshdesk.com
Feb 6 (2 days ago)

to Sonia, me

Dear Sonia,

As per the initial request (see attached), we advised that we are unable to amend the status from our end because the options available to update are in line with the withdrawal guidelines and the status needs to be updated to status G. We therefore requested your offices to update the clients status.

Please refer to the attached mail and advise accordingly.

On Thu, Jan 19, 2017 at 12:51 PM, From the ********** />

Good day NCR Officer,

It seems to have been a misunderstanding in terms of the request.

Kindly note this was a joint debt review application and when we issued the 17.4 we updated the NCR debt help system for ******X (see attached screenshot for reference). There seems to have been an oversight with the updating of the co-applicant *********X who is still listed on status C.

We have tried to update the status for *************** however we are unable to select status G as the dropdown list only corresponds to the new withdrawal guidelines. This client was issued with a 17.4 prior to the withdrawal guidelines and should be updated to status G.

Is it possible to action or what do you advise we do to assist?

This is what the clients profile currently looks like

Evelyn ********** />10/31/16

to Morris, me

Dear Morris,

Kindly assist with this matter it was sent to transfers on the 24.09.2016.

Regards,

Evelyn Moleko
Senior Call Centre Agent

From: Complaints
Sent: 21 October 2016 01:32 PM
To: Evelyn Moleko
Subject: FW: FW: ***************XX

Evelyn,

Do you have this on your spreadsheet?

Regards,

Mary Machitje
Complaints Department

National Credit Regulator
Fax ********** | Call Centre *** | Web www.ncr.org.za
127 - 15th Road Randjespark | Midrand | PO Box 209 | Halfway House | 16

And the trend goes on and On and on….

Always the same message and absolutely NO resolution or Intervention from an Senior level , I even contacted the Ombudsman and was transferred to Sonia …Really what else can I do to get this matter resolved ????

Lodging an complaint means nothing, that just reset’s the clock .
