Seriously ****ed off with Kevin Duncan and National Conveyor Products

Hi all. Just a heads up for anyone who would like to make use of the National Conveyor Products in Wadeville, Gauteng and in particular Kevin Duncan whose job title (according to his business card) is “Member”. My story is as follows: I own a small lathe which is belt driven. The belt got damaged and I spent days phoning and driving around looking for another belt. I eventually ended up at National Conveyor Products in Wadeville on recommendations from a few places that I visited or spoke to as the belt is not a standard belt. I spoke with Kevin and he also confirmed that the belt was not standard and then offered to have 2 pulleys manufactured for me which would then take a standard belt. This was fantastic as not only would it assist me now but also in the future as I could get a standard off the shelf belt if needed in future. So back home I go to strip the 2 pulleys from the lathe and take them back to National Conveyor Products where Kevin would make drawings of them to send to their Cape Town branch to have the pulleys manufactured. Kevin told me it would take about two weeks. I left my contact details with the pulleys and damaged belt together with the dimension between centers of the pulleys. Two and a half weeks late I still have not heard back from Kevin, so I phone him. He tells me the pulleys have been back a while, but he lost my contact details so was glad I called (this happens I suppose????). So back to National Conveyor Products to collect my items. When I get there, I notice that the keyways in both pulleys are too small and am told they will have to go back to Cape Town to cut the keyways correct. Another week and I get a call saying my pulleys are back. So, another 60kms travelled back to collect my pulleys and belt. I get them back home and try fit the pulleys, only to find the hole diameters are too small on both pulleys by 1mm on the one and 0.85mm on the other. Now seriously ****ed off, I travel another 30kms one way to return the pulleys and offer to buy Kevin a new vernier. At this stage I’ve driven in excess of 200kms due to “Incompetence”, so at this stage I tell Kevin that the pulleys can be delivered to me as I’ve travelled many kilometers and all as a result of his / their incompetence! Two weeks later, still no word from Kevin, so I phone him. I’m then told that the pulleys have come back and he needed my address to courier them and the belt to me, which I give him. Three days later, still nothing so I call him again and are told that he will call the courier service and find out what’s happening and that he will get back to me in 10 mins – This happens 3 times and he never gats back to me. Each time I phone him, I get the same story – wait 10 mins for him to find out from the couriers and I never get a call back! That brings me to today: I phone him again and am told that he is not at work due to personal reasons, so am put through to someone else. I am then told he has pulleys on his desk that he known nothing about and could they possibly be mine. I’m sent a WhatsApp photo and indeed they look like my pulleys. SO, THEY ARE NOT WITH THE COURIERS!!!!! I then travel another 30kms to collect the pulleys and actually ask for a vernier to check the hole sizes. Believe it or not, they are still too small – some work had been done, but still they were too small. By now I’m seriously ****ed off, so I just take the pulleys and the belt and travel the 30kms back home. I contacted a friend of a friend who could help me to machine the pulleys and now they fit. I do handyman work and have lost 3 jobs due to my lathe being out of commission for more than 2 months waiting for Kevin Duncan at National Conveyor Products and I’m not even talking about all the fuel I have driven out due to his incompetence and lies!!!!
