Beware Nathmie of Natcon Holdings

I contracted Nathmie of Natcon Holdings to relay the bricks of my driveway, the path to my front door and my patio as the previous contractor had got the levels incorrect and large puddles had caused subsidence. All throughout the job I urged Nathmie to make sure the falls were sufficient to drain the various areas, however on completion the puddles were larger and more numerous than before.

Nathmie and I had a meeting where he assured me he would fix all issues which involved lifting up large areas of bricks and relaying, and that the team who had completed my job had been fired, and he had a new team which would fix all the errors. He also committed to being on-site for the repairs, where previously he was on-site intermittently.

On Thursday the 9th of November when some of the work was to be completed he didn't arrive and did not contact me to postpone. When I followed up on the following Monday he seemed surprised at my annoyance at his no-show, and gave me an excuse about 'just coming out of court.' Seeing the writing on the wall, I said we should part ways and if he could at least send me an invoice for the work completed which he agreed to.

I have yet to receive the invoice, after numerous follow-ups. I have also subsequently had to spend more money on another contractor to fix some of the major puddles. I have to, however, live with the puddles on my patio and rear of my driveway as they are to difficult to repair without lifting the entire job.

To say I am disappointed in the work done my Nathmie would be an understatement. He spoke a good game, but at the end of the day walks off jobs when the going gets tough.
