Unpleasant service
Im currently house hunting as I have just put my other property on the market. Mind you , this is my 3th property that i am shopping for. I then went onto property 24 and I came across listing *** . I then Emailed the consultant Paul Campbell who did not respond for over 3 days. I thought maybe he is on leave but im sure he would have done a transfer of responsibility. Nonetheless on day 4 I then sent him a whatsapp telling him of the interest in the property. Again, to this date he has not rep****. On day 6 after waiting for days for someone to revert back to me , I decided to report the matter through property 24. And early the next day I received call from whom I would believe is his PA , a gentlemen by the name of Tyran. This now is Saturday morning, Im right at the boarder of Swaziland where im currently stationed. He calls to ask me if I can avail myself for the very next day, Sunday. I told him its too short notice and I am not around. We then arranged to do the viewing for the 30.01.2022.
I then called in on wednesday the 27.01.2022 to request for the viewing to be moved to Saturday the 29.01.2022. To my surprise, I was told that the tenants will not be around on the weekend therefore the viewing will be impossible. Mind you, Im already a few hours away from Pmb . I have driven 5hours already to be told that the viewing would not take place. No one made any attempt to let me know that the viewing will no longer take place. I’m already on my way to Pmb, the tenants are unavailable fine. Why is the seller not being involved in this matter?
This matter feels quite personal now as i have made so many attempts to get a chance to view this property to no avail. I was then told that the viewings can only be done midweek for this unit. How unaccomodating can this be. I am not a first time home buyer. I believe I know the pros and cons of buying property. Im a potential buyer and to be given such hassle when showing interest for property is absurd. Unless the seller has a specific target, which I pretty much doubt.
Im sure the next call will confirm that the property is no longer available. This was probably the worst experience in my many years of buying properties. I sincerely hope this never ever happens to anyone.
