Deposit not refunded back by Natal Properties

I was renting a property with natal properties for about 4 years. In the 4 years no repairs where done at all. There was some water damage from the geyser and the piping for the shower was also not done well therefore with time the walls started molding. When the geyser caused some water damage we reported this immediately and they came to stop the water leak and informed us that they would come and do some painting and all but they did not return to do the rest of the repairs. We contacted them to remind them that they had said they would come and paint but they didn't come still. After some time we noticed that the walls were starting to mold and we reported this but nothing was done. After reporting numerous times and sending emails they finally sent someone to come and assess the state of the water damage and what could be causing it. We have 2 babies and we noticed that when they slept in the molding bedroom they would get sick. After Natal Properties sent someone to assess the water damage, we were told that they would sort this out but they did not. Now we moved form the property and expected our deposit back but we were told that due to the water damage we would not receive the deposit back because we did not report, which is not true. We were requested to send some evidence that we did report the water damage and we did but things went quiet again. Every time i phone i get told that someone will get back to me. The reason i am reporting this is because i don't like the fact that that property was no longer safe health wise and even after we reported this many time no one bothered to sort it out then to top it all up we haven't received our deposit.
