Rude for no reason

<p>Purchased a Durateq car battery from the Naskar in Waverly in March. Yesterday I found that the battery exploded. The acid burst all over the engine bay and is eating away the paint, even on the grill and front bumper. Expecting help from the company seeing that it has 2 year warranty, I was surprised to find the manager/owner laugh and say it's not his problem. Not only only did he refuse to acknowledge me in his shop for a good 22 minutes, he refused outright to fix, clean or even replace the broken battery. The same excuse from the Naskar in Menlyn. So I phoned the Durateq head office in Boksburg. After being put told someone would phone me back, I eventually grew impatient and phoned every number I could fined that is connected to the company. I got hold of a manager who told me no battery company in SA will help me as it is my car's fault. Strange as the previous battery never had the same problem. So I am left to clean the acid myself, replace all the rubber pipes and seals within my engine that got eaten along with having to respray the car. Oh, and I had to buy a new battery.</p>
