Faulty printer

We bought a printer from Nashua East Rand and in 2 months it was not working. The quotation to fix the printer is the price of the new printer. in my view the machine was faulty. How can a printer not have a warranty. The salesman even said that was bad luck because they never experienced such. My point all is all R56 000.00 down the drain and they are not even willing to pay half of the amount
