Unfair treatment - Nanny****s

Dear Parents,
I have been a victim of unfair treatment at nanny****s. It appears that there is a syndication operating under this name where they solicit a payment of R500 for interview fee as well as an additional R3000 for nanny appointment with a 6 month guarantee of nanny replacement for free within that period if you are unhappy.

After going through the interview process with nanny****s in June 2019 and appointing a nanny, it seemed to go well until I had to go back to nanny****s on 3 occasions to replace a nanny as each one worked for a week then did not return. This is when I emailed asking for a full refund of my R3500 as it had already been 6 weeks into the arrangement with no permanent nanny.

Nanny****s were very apologetic, stating that the nanny****s employee who I had dealt with had left the business on 30 June 2019 due to ********* behaviour as she had solicited business and payment from me whilst employed by nanny****s into her own account. This is when things got weird...

1. Nanny****s asked that I recover the money - the ****** R3500 from the ex employee who stole the money
2. Nanny****s then proceeded to explain that they had charged said ex employee for ***** of up to R68 000 however have been in constant contact with said ex employee and that she will make good on the money that went missing.
3. After a few phone calls and me providing proof of payment, email details and even the actual invoice ( all of which was clearly nanny****s branded), nanny****s confirmed that they would make good on the refund.

4. Nanny****s confirmed that they would pay the refund of R3000 less the interview fee as this is non refundable per the agreement signed, by 31 August 2019. They also asked me to remind them in the last week of August 2019 so that they could make the payment on time.

this is when is gets weirder....
5. Yesterday ( 27 August 2019) I emailed nanny****s to remind them of the refund due. What I get in return is a full 360 as follows:

a) statements that I was somehow an accomplice to the ex employer involved in the missing R3500 from me under the pretence that she was signing me up as a client for nanny****s services,
b) Nanny****s then insist that they are not responsible for making good on the refund even though the incident took place whilst the said ex employee was under their employment,
c) Nanny****s then proceeds to send me emails during the course the day ( 28 August 2019) saying that they will get my employment terminated from the company I work at as I am an accomplice to the incident if I proceed to report to the police or post to social media.
d) the representative from nanny****s also used ************ saying that she would look to somehow damage the reputation of my employer if I proceed to report the ***** to the police and post to social media.
e)the representative also said that she would look to sue me for damages of character if I report to the police and make this post.
All of the above has been documented as the said representative chose to email me during the discussions.

After consulting both the legal teams at my employer and my own personal team, I have now opened a case against both nanny****s as well as the ex employee. Parents, please stay away from this company. You will have the same experience as I did. This is not about the money but nanny****s lack of respect for their clients and the law. DO NOT enter into any agreements or pay money to nanny****s.

Protect yourselves!

Dear Naleni,
As you are aware,Nanny ****s had no part in the *****. The Invoice you presented read "Trading as Nanny ****s" with a capitec savings account and was an obvious makeshift. I regret that the arrangements you made with our former employee did not materialise. Apologies once more.
