Worst manager on duty
I was utterly disgusted yesterday when after a long day, we decide to use Nandos as our 'go to' place for early supper. I'm usually satisfied with the meal portions but yesterday, all of a sudden, the quarter chicken looked like 1 piece of chicken. We then requested a bigger quarter because the breast part of the chicken literally looked as if someone had cut off from it. The manager, Xolelwa then came and showed no remorse whatsoever. Her attitude basically said 'that's all we have so take it or leave it'. Being the manager, I would expect her to do something about it, even if she just had to add a few chicken strips to make up for the loss of breast on that quarter, but nothing, absolutely nothing! We then requested a refund and she came back, threw the money on the table and left! No 'I'm sorry for the inconvenience' or anything like that. I don't think people with such a bad attitude should be given a management title, not if they don't realise the responsibility that goes with it.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
